CHARITY MATCH IN CAORLE
AN EVENT THAT LEFT ITS MARK
The Caorle Charity Match – On the Court for Matambo concluded with great participation and enthusiasm, transforming an evening of sport into a concrete outcome of solidarity.
The event, held at the Palamare Valter Vicentini in Caorle, brought together athletes, guests from the basketball world, fans, and supporters of the project, all united by a common goal: to contribute to the construction of the basketball court in Matambo, Mozambique.
SPORT, COMMUNITY, AND SOLIDARITY
The match was not just a moment of sporting spectacle, but a true collective act of social commitment. Every person in the stands, every ticket purchased, and every round of applause contributed to supporting the AllyHoop for Matambo project, promoted in collaboration with Dignity – No Profit People ETS.
The atmosphere experienced in Caorle demonstrated how sport can become a universal language capable of uniting people and distant territories, generating a real impact.
AN IMPORTANT RESULT
The proceeds from the event were very positive and represented a fundamental step for the project. Thanks to the fundraising achieved during the charity match and related solidarity initiatives, it was possible to start work on building the basketball court in Matambo.
A concrete result that transforms the energy of the event into a tangible work, destined to last over time.
FROM THE CAORLE COURT TO THE MATAMBO COURT
The funds raised were used for the construction of the basketball court, including a hoop and playing area, offering the children and young people of Matambo a safe place to play sports, meet, and grow.
What started as a game in Caorle has become a development and hope project in the province of Tete, demonstrating that even a single event can make a difference.
